After making a good move in the smartphone industry with its Canvas line-up, the Micromax has boosted its work to earn a good name in the tablet industry. The new budget Android tablet from the company, the Micromax Funbook P600 has been launched and is available on the online sopping sites. The tablet is meant to compete with tablets of Samsung and other tablets in this price range. Here are the specs of Micromax Funbook P600.

The new tablet comes with 3G compatibility and offers Voice Calling feature. This is indeed one of the top-notch features of this tablet, as voice calling feature in tablets in this price range is rare to see.

Nothing new and interesting in the outer look of Micromax A600. The tablet has traditional design that most of the tablets, especially the ones with ‘Micromax’ tag come with. Dimensions of the tablet are 119.5×193.5×11.5 and weight is 370g.

Micromax P600 has 7-inch capacitive multi-touch Screen. The display resolution is not specified in the official feature-set of the tablet. If you like the compact tablets, then this may suite you the most.
Processor & Operating System
Speed does matter and is one of the important factors that determine the sales graph of any device, being it is smartphone or tablet. Micromax has done good job in this factor so far, and is going the same in Micromax P600 as it comes with Qualcomm MSM8225A ARM Cortex A5 1Ghz Dual core Processor. The processor might not be the best, but yes, good enough, especially if we look at the price tag of the tablet.
This latest tablet is based on Android OS, and runs the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich version. Android Jelly Bean in it would have been better. But long live the third-party developers who will be bringing custom ROMs for it anytime soon.

In terms of storage capacity, this tablet follows the crowd with 2GB internal storage and 32GB expandable. RAM is 512MB.
Camera
The Rear View Camera in the tablet is 2MP, while the Front Camera is VGA. Nothing special for photography enthusiasts.

The Lithum Polymer in the Micromax P600 is rated to offer Browsing Time of 4 hours and stand-by time of 224 hours.
